Product offerings

Crystal Technology's core competence lies in crystal growth and optical device manufacturing of components based on those crystals. Lithium niobate as well as tellurium dioxide crystals are grown at the facilities in Palo Alto. Congruent as well as MgO doped lithium niobate is most commonly used in high speed integrated optics and nonlinear optical frequency-doubling applications. Acousto-optic devices based on TeO2 or quartz are utilized to manage laser beams in the form of modulators, deflectors, frequency shifters and tunable filters.
